Is that custom or does a company produce it?

That is the Suncoast hood. However I wanted it in Carbon Fiber.. and Suncoast doesnt make it in CF.

so I got a company in Ontario Canada to make it.

$780 CDN.
PM me for details if you want

This is one of Five hoods being made so far

I love it. Already loved the Suncoast hood and the fact it's CF makes it that much cooler. Does it keep the ram-air ducting?

Are they making 5 because they had 5 orders or are they planning on selling the others later and just needed to do a batch to make it worthwhile?

they made 5 cause I needed to find 5 ppl that wanted it to start making it.

the pic above is the 1st. the 2nd should be done this week. the rest are about 4-5 days after each other.

however if you want one it can be made. just after the batch of 5 are done.

this hood keeps the air ducting for a SC on the right side of the engine. since that is what is molded off.

Yes the Suncoast hood was amazing. and thats why I got it to the next step. CF amazing

Well, if some TC people are interested, all they'd have to do is mirror the opening on the other side basically. That's what Suncoast did. I bet they could do it pretty easily, or at least I'd imagine they could.

Mine is a TC. I just dont care for the opening cause I am not running a sealed unit to get any benefit from the Ram air. Suncoast has the intake for the SC etc.. to make it seal.

im sure they could swap the side.

most ppl run a CAI anyways and the filter is no where near the top where the hole would be

its hard to tell if it still is but that hood is functional.....

take a look at the two gratings in the back of the hood, theyre for the vents on top. so it does do something. probably not much. but i bet all of you can attest to the damn high temperatures we have with the ecotecs.

The Suncoast is fully functional. The back vents are for extracting heat (great bc of the turbo's position) and the front brings in air to a hole on one side or the other depending on what you're wanting.

I'm just not sure if they copied that on this version of it.
