My new CF hood
Ok... the first hood is out of the shop and on my car.... fitment was near perfection! im loving it! its dark right now so the pics arn't the greatest... I will post better pics on sunday, so keep an eye out.

u better make sure u throw some hood pins on that bad boy.... and i know even with mine being in fiberglass, the wind travelling under it and thru the heat extractors caused it to put stress on certain parts....... but as long as u dont speed tooo much i guess u should be fine.
too bad i didnt get in on this...... kinda looking toward some carbon fiber for the trunk and maybe hood. i was asked earlier this year actually to be the mold for the hood but i never had the time to get up north and do what was needed. oh well
can u get some better pics of it during the day?
you can still get it for the same price... they are selling it for $780... so when ever you deside if you want to switch to CF just contact urban, or myself
heres a little better pic... will take pics with a good camera tomorrow.

I'll post Detailed pics today when the sun comes out...
YES the hood is functional for the SS/SC if you buy the ram air intake kit... but i wouldn't recommend it... i hear of problems or power loss with it... these cars were designed with cold air intakes so id stick with that.
Im not sure if the induction helps the intake temps but I did notice coolant temps are 2-4* lower then with the stock hood, wile driving.

They might be able to change the mold to work for the 2.2/2.4/TC guys... you would have to talk to them, but i don't think it will make a difference in performance either way... the intakes on the SS cobalt are pretty good the way they are.
But the cowl induction will have benefits aswell... and the hood just looks amazing!

Gap on left side, you can see the top of the grill on the right-front and a gap above the headlight on the right-front. It appears that they need to make the hood slightly wider overall and longer or more curved on the right-front or something like that.
The CF quality looks top-notch, but the fit worries me.
yes it still has to be aligned slightly... We just put it on quickly, and it was night time... it does have to go to the right and forward on the left. Trust me, it was test fitted on an other cobalt and fitment if perfect... I can't fit any flaws in the Carbon fiber. the edges are nice and smooth..
I will take some pics from the side and a few other angles when i get a chance.
2 more are ready, just need to be picked up, so within a few days we will have pics on an other balt. aswell.
