I think it serves the purpose well here. I am from NH as well and when I had my car registered there, they wanted my plate on the front bumper, anything else was not an option. Since my car is from South Carolina where I am stationed, I didn't want to drill holes in my perfect untainted bumper. I bought the factory plastci plate mount then double sided taped it to the car for inspection, and removed it as soon as I went back to South Carolina. They don't know any better down there since SC only requires one plate. Now I just register my car in SC because they don't have inspections at all, it's a lot cheaper for me being in the military, and finally I only need one plate!

Needless to say I feel you pain bro, and you got to do what you have to do. This mod gets the IMO. Also, the double sided tape trick worked great as the plate stayed on in the winter weather very well all the way to Pittsburgh, PA to where I remembered to take it off!
