My car was involved in a hit and run accident. I don't know who the hell was it cuz I wasn't in the car as i was at a party while my car was sitting in an abandon mall parking lot. I went to a few places to check on getting it fixed and most places want to cut the entire side panel out and weld a new one in. Some say they can just pull the dent out and small it all out and repaint. Any body experts on here to tell me what you would do?

well, if you are gonna keep the car for a while, id personally put a new skin on. yes, it can be pulled out, but then you are full of bondo. make sure you go to a reputable body shop either way

 

insurance that shy....that sucks man......hope everything works out

 

that be hard to fix without replacing the quarter... it looks buckled and such

Yea well it will have to be pulled etc cuz most shops around here are quoting me around 3grand plus to put a new panel and honestly I won't have the car for another year or so as long as it last for that long then im fine.

 

gotta love the hit and run, people suck ass my cars been hit and ran 3x thank god for plastic panels. best of luck to ya man

 

If insurance will cover a replacement panel then do it the right way for the new owner.

 

Okay im not going with insurance because for one i went once already in the past year and it was a big claim. if I go with insurance they will drop me.

 

pay the money and have it done right...
