Um, maybe they just had them re-vinyled to color match the car. And came up with a fancy story to go with it

GM Chevrolet Prototype Cobalt SS Seats Brand New NR : eBay Motors (item 180546460628 end time Aug-19-10 19:24:10 PDT)

Theres the ebay link and yes these are so much better than my old leather seats.

At first I was thinking they were gona be to stiff for my back but after a few days the softened up quite a bit.

Thanks for all the comments guys and gals, I think they are pretty damn sexy myself lol.
