chevy ls chick what i suggest is sand the wing, sand all the blue off, primer it, sand the primer, than paint using the GM paint, once u paint, wet sand it with 1500, than wet sand with 2000, than wet sand with 2500, than use some rubbing compound on it, when thats done, clean it off, than hit it with some polishing compound and ur set later on wash and wax

Ok let me get this straight..you THINK that im putting the high rise on to look fast? My car is not built to be fast, it never will be, but it is going to be built for a show car...and yes, that means a ******* high rise. Who really cares what wing i have on my car, why does it even matter to you? Its my car, i pay for the damn thing and i can do whatever i want to it. I know my LS auto will never be as fast as your sc but im not building my car to be fast..AT ALL. I could care less if the thing gets 150hp ok. My goal is to get my car show worthy. Do you SC guys really lose sleep over a LS putting your prized wing on the back? This thread was not put here for people giving their opinions about my wing...i posted cuz i needed help on how to paint the damn thing cuz guess what...the SC never came in white so i have to do all the work myself.

and yet half of you "proud" SS-ers wanna trade that oh-so-special spoiler for a low-rise or go wingless. Does that mean you're just trying to be more like us base-through-LT owners?

hey chick, can't you sell that spoiler and get a pre-painted one?

I bought the spoiler for $120 and a pre-painted one is like $300+ shipping...

lower grit sand paper to take off the blue w/out a prob. but the lower the grit though, the more priming/sanding, priming/wetsanding you'll have to do to smooth it back out again.

not that hard to do, just extremely time consuming and you have to be patient.

but then again, you took a class, so i'm sure you already knew that

good luck

bolts are under the end caps. just heat the end caps with a hair dryier then pry the end caps up. they will pop off.
