Need a little help

chevy ls chick what i suggest is sand the wing, sand all the blue off, primer it, sand the primer, than paint using the GM paint, once u paint, wet sand it with 1500, than wet sand with 2000, than wet sand with 2500, than use some rubbing compound on it, when thats done, clean it off, than hit it with some polishing compound and ur set

true, rattle cans can do the trick, i was just stating my opinion, but i didn't intend for you to take it, haha. go for it. anyone that mods their car has pride in it and wants to put in the time and effort. can't say no to cobalt pride!
Ok let me get this straight..you THINK that im putting the high rise on to look fast? My car is not built to be fast, it never will be, but it is going to be built for a show car...and yes, that means a ******* high rise. Who really cares what wing i have on my car, why does it even matter to you? Its my car, i pay for the damn thing and i can do whatever i want to it. I know my LS auto will never be as fast as your sc but im not building my car to be fast..AT ALL. I could care less if the thing gets 150hp ok. My goal is to get my car show worthy. Do you SC guys really lose sleep over a LS putting your prized wing on the back? This thread was not put here for people giving their opinions about my wing...i posted cuz i needed help on how to paint the damn thing cuz guess what...the SC never came in white so i have to do all the work myself.
hey chick, can't you sell that spoiler and get a pre-painted one?
i say go for it.. i have a LT auto with a high rise on it.. wanna talk **** bout it bein slow..? i'll take any factory or stage two ss/sc's out there.. as for the high rise makin it look fast..? not on my car.. its for looks just like its just for looks on the ss/sc's.. but yea if someone thinks its to make it look fast its not but believe me i can back my **** up if someone just thinks its to look fast.
o yea.. lschik try for a two tone job.. go white with the pedestals and black with the center and caps..

lower grit sand paper to take off the blue w/out a prob. but the lower the grit though, the more priming/sanding, priming/wetsanding you'll have to do to smooth it back out again.
not that hard to do, just extremely time consuming and you have to be patient.
but then again, you took a class, so i'm sure you already knew that
good luck

i will probably do the two tone after i get my CF stuff, right now it would look soooo out of place
