OK I painted my factory and put them back on .Now I have painted my aftermarket and was going to sell them but I " think " I like them better then my factory again.Which do you like better. it takes 2 seconds ,so please vote

I like the factory rims, big fan, only problem is the weight what is it like 26lbs?

 

alot of prep and dupont auto paint

 

what was ur process

 

media blast.-clean -sand with 180-500- then wash with hot water - then wipe down with final clean -tack cloth off dust- prime - blow off then tack off again -sand with 2500 - base paint then clear and set in front off heat lamps over night.

tough call both look good, i like the aftermarket ones better then what they did look like though, clear will make them look real good. stockers came oue awesome i hope mine come out like that when i redo them, they are dull now. lol

I like what you did with teh aftermarket. You have to put those and get some pics as well. But that was my vote.

 

keep the arfermarkets and paint the chrome lip red

 

i voted stock. i think they go with the car better IMO

 

if anything the "spokes" should be painted red leaving the lip alone

 

ohhh it's a close race so far 50/50.. I love the stockers like that but the aftermarkets would be ***** on your ride.

 

stay with the factories, but id paint the center caps

I would have to vote for the stockers because clear coat will not adhere to bare aluminum unless it is powdercoated.

 

stockers. they look amazing with the car the way it is. just my opinion, not really feeling the aftermarket ones.

 

lol well I have painted a bunch of them and with promoter it sticks very well .also its brushed not polished. oh and the polished edges on the stockers are cleared also.THANKS FOR THE VOTE
