Got rid of the "Brick" ebrake! This fits beautifully with very little customization.

 

Man that looks really good. Good job. Def. looks much better than the stock ebrake.

The boot:
Go to the wreckers and find a BMW Z3 convertible, pay like 5 bucks, take it home, clean it, massage in a little olive oil to soften it up and your good to go.

Handle:
Any good performance store should carry/be able to order momo Ebay is also another great place (This guy also has some Isotta which he says will fit http://shop.vendio.com/crowderscustomizing/category/8/), I found momo was on of the only ones with a wide enough inside diameter to fit without any drilling or grinding. Pull off the plastic cover, This is what you have...

The only trimming you will have to do is trim off the back lip so its a smooth piece, then slid on the new ebrake handle tighten it on add the boot and BadaBing, you are done!!!

 

looks good. I wrapped my stocker in carbon fiber and I'm still not sure if I like it. It's good that there is a back up that looks good if I decide to change.

How do we know which momo handle to get? Is there a part number? also is there any other boots that would work?(just in case there is no bmws to be found}

 

When i looked at them in the store they all seemed to have pretty much the same inside diameter (the widest part needs to be almost an inch). I picked this one cause i didn't want any chrome and the red matched the red interior.

As for the boot, just take a walk around the wreckers, I am sure you can make almost any boot fit. I just lucked out on this one, it is real leather and all i had to do to make it fit was take off the bottom plastic frame piece. I wasn't into spending $80 for the momo ebrake boot.

 

Icemaid,what did you use to secure the boot under the console?

 

Haven't secured it, fits nice in there as is. If i do secure it down the road, just going to use thin strips of velcro it so i can move and adjust it down the road if i need to. I can try and take some pics later with it some what apart if you want.

Wow I just did the math. So that handle is $120 US.
I wish I could spend that on a handle. It is pure hotnesssssss.

 

Being momo it is fairly expensive...The handle was $119 and if you wanted the momo boot to go with it (instead of a generic one or one from a wreckers) they run $80-$90. But the handle is definately worth it, nice easy fit, (no grinding and farting around with it).
Won't get something like this from crappy tire, and generic handles you can buy are too small on the inside diameter you would need to drill them out....too much of a pain. I myself would rather spend a little more money, than a lot of time and hassle for something that fits properly rather than trying to force something to fit.
I think it looks really tight!!!

 

Rep for you, that is beautiful, I have been thinking about how to do this for a long while now. I have the plastic piece of **** the my SSSC came with. It is already scratched and I have only used it a handful of times.
