the badge came in the mail from 24designs.net(bowtie, black with yellow SS) i have no idea how it is going to stay on the front where the old bowtie went. the new bowtie is flat and the surface is curved. any suggestions are welcome!

Does 24Designs have any info to help you? I was looking there and decided against them when they told me they were flat and only stick on.
Please let me know how it turns out.

may i make a small suggestion and heat the badge with a hair dryer when you use your double sided tape to make it bend a little i know if u hold it in 1 area too long it will start to bubble and look like crap i cant remember if the badge u are talking about is metal or if its plastic i know my center steering wheel one from 24designs was perfict. maybe that will work for you

I'm with 2006BlackSS/SC try and heat it up... then you should be able to force it into the shape you need... but you may ruin it if you heat it too much

you are supposed to take the stock emblem off and replace with the new one. Have a look at the pics on their site. I bought one a while back and have yet to put it on, not sure if I will, might take the one off the rear and put it there instead.

if you really wanna do it right, make a jig with the same curve as the original badge, lay the new one on your jig, and heat it with a heat gun or hair dryer on high until it starts to bend, and just let it cool down. whala! a badge that fits perfect.

to keep it from bubbling or melting, dont hold the heat in one place, wave it back and forth to evenly heat up the plastic.
