New Front Bumper?

Hey guys I've got a 2007 SS and I recently ruined my front bumper due to sliding a snow bank. I was wondering if you could give me an idea of an affordable aftermarket bumper that doesn't look totally crazy without having a full body kit or where to buy a stock bumper with the lip holes for a good price? Thank you.

They all look terrible and are made from shitty plastics that fit poorly.

Buy OEM.

Is there any specific dealer you would recommend? I can find the bumpers without the holes for the lip for under $200 but the ones with holes are about $450 It seems like, I just really don't get why there's such a massive difference.

I did a new OEM paint and ship out of California and the Ultra Silver Metallic was spot on. Of course the whole car has already been repainted so i wasn't too surprised when it matched perfectly. Cheaper that I could have done it locally.

Are they from GM? I though body parts would be all aftermarket at this point.

Ordered from GM. Manufacturers are required to provide parts for a set amount of years. They made so many Cobalts they'd be crazy not to sell parts.

Less common cars lose support earlier. All Optra and Epica OEM parts are non returnable because supply and demand are so low and the aftermarket is almost non-existent. Just had one in the shop.

I'll have to dig through my emails but I was able to get a new OEM front bumper (without lip) primed and painted $275 shipped. I think it was eBay that I found it on.

Otherwise, a Google search led me to revemoto.com. $440 for primed and painted, although I think shipping is extra. Didn't look too far into it.

Oem style not oem manufactured probably. There's a huge difference in fit and finish and plastic quality.

I think it was CAPA certified:

It's been a year since I installed it, still looks great.

Agreed. I'll still search for that email for the purchase as they had lots of stock and post it here when I find it.

Also, I need to take some pics, I don't think the community has really seen my G5. Currently it's too dirty for any good "angles".
