Isn't there a bodykit that takes that out completely?

Vinyl has an adhesive backing to it, you can probably find some at your local Adv Auto Parts, or Autozone

You can easily remove it from any bumper, I just wanted to make mine more subtle without permanently damaging/modifying anything

It definitely looks good. You've put a lot of solid work into that car. Keep it up.

Looks real good. I was talking to my friend today about finding some place that would do some sort of vynl overlay for the gold bowtie.

Gold doesn't match the car at all. And yah that sony should be great, my friend has that same model. I'm sportin the DSC-N2 10.1mp.

First fk you, love the ss bumper, and second that looks pretty good. It would be nice to can that whole cross piece with a billett grill instead but for a DIY its nice.

EXCELLENT... how did you trim the edges? I know you didn't cut it on the car....
Is it 1 piece or seamed at the center behind the bowtie?

Off topic, but I love the look of the SS front end on a sedan. I'm DYING to do it to mine, I just need to find someone selling a good condition bumper at a good price.

I will do the same to mine, but I will paint the gold portion of the emblem a flat black. I think just seeing the chrome outline of the chevy emble would look cool.

Rekindled this thread -- Didn't want to start a new one with the same subject. I painted my center section semi-flat black, added two 1/8" silver stripes, and painted the Chevy emblem Victory Red. The bottom silver stripe follows the lower edge of the center bar and the top silver stripe follows the bottom stripe -- if you put the top silver stripe along the top edge of the center bar it will not look straight as it widens towards the center and makes it look like you goofed.
