On mine I tied into the light wire and ground wire to the boost guage , they will work off the dimmer that way too . Less wire to run your way though .

no problem let me know if u need any pinouts on any of the cobalts plugs i can get them all and if i cant i know a place to get them from

I dont remember exactly what the blue foil wires are , but I do know the foil is on them to block any interference .

so if i only wanted to take the face plate off so that i could replace the white bulbs...what kind or number are those bulbs that are behind...i want my gauges to be all red...but i just want to replace the bulbs that are in there right now...replace them for red led's...are they like 194's or something....and what bulb number is in the boost gauge?

From what I have heard you can't get to the lights in the boost guage without breaking it.

All the gauge cluster lights , 2 in the speedo , 2 in the tach and 1 in the fuel are TINY surface mount incandesnt bulbs that are soldered to the gauge cluster circuit board . Same deal with the boost gauge , its not lit like a normal Autometer and its not serviceable .
