Thanks bro! I finally got them both put in and aimed. And for whoever said get the right size bulb, I did. H7 goes in 2nd gen. They're fine. I love these lights. 8000k FTW!!!! I don't know if I'm going to put them in the fogs. Is it really worth it? I mean I don't use my fogs that much.

I notice when I first start my car that the HIDs get super bright and then go back down to normal brightness.

holy **** the man makes comment on hids again.. lol an0m i didnt think you would get into anythin that had to do with hids or headlights again period. seems like since you've stopped preachin to others bout hids i've picked up the chore..

That's normal. High pressure sodium bulbs, or industrial ones that are bright and hot kinda do the same thing. Consider it as charging the bulb.

Yeah, mine do that too. It gets a lot of attention if you're driving down the road and turn them on, like at stoplights and such. First time I saw a set of HIDs come on, I was pretty mesmerized, too. It was a BMW, I believe. I think there's a slight change in color, too, when they first come on.

on my 1st gen had to drill a hole to make the bulb fit dunno about gen 2.

I won't! I have pictures now on my gf's camera...but my camera cord doesn't fit hers. I'll get them on tonight.
