New Katzkin Dark Graphite Interior, just received it today
To whomever asked how much mine was, TO MUCH, lol.... I got the upgraded leather and exotics fabric in the centers, i cant exactly remember, but alot,lol...
oh ok lol....do u know how much it is for just basic 2 tone leather seats from them?
that should give you a basic idea.
i Put the front's on myself. The hardest part honestly was that I accidentally hit the switch to recline the seat while it was off and the spring became unloaded. When I went to put the back of the seat back on, it didn't line up at all.
I ended up fighting with it and got it back to where it was suppose to be and everything back together.
I still have to find the back seats.

Well going to start my front seats install tomorrow and will have pics. Its hard as my Network Security Admin job starts at 530am-2 everyday and its hard getting up at 430am if your up passed midnight.
Well i got the passenger seat done and it wasn't so easy as you have to completely take apart the whole seat to get the old cloth off. I would not recommend this install to anyone that is not hands on. I am painting the side covers now black as there beige now and would look stupid with the black.

Well... in order to make the Katzkin seats fit properly, you do need to disassemble the seats.
Taking apart the seats isn't that difficult anyways... just time consuming and alot of pics to make sure you are putting some of the smaller parts back in properly.

Well uploading more pics now. Both the fronts are done and I am painting the sides flat black and letting them sit overnight to dry and tomorrow the fronts will be in my car and i will have pictures. The seats are so comfortable now for sure. I am going to put the black leather on my door trim in the middle too. My whole interior will be two-tone.

Well all i have left to do now is put on the headrest. Can anyone tell me how to get the headrest cloth off because its like glued on to the foam and I am tearing up the foam when trying to put it off. I dont know how else to get it off as the cloth is stuck to the foam.
Ok what do i need to do to get them around the headrest as its going to be hard to pull it over really. Is there anyway to stretch the leather a little bit to make it go on easier. Will i have to use adhesive as well or no.
Yes there is some stretch, but it's still a pain to get them on, be careful not to rip the threads on your headrest piece. It's been a long time sincei did this, but i think it was one of the hardest parts of the job. Did you watch the video on the katskin site, they use a machine that puts a plastic bag over it and vacuums it down to a smaller size so you can get the material to slide on. But we don't have that luxury, so MUSCLE it on there GENTLY, lol...
No adhesive, and a small amount of heat might help, like a hair dryer or heatgun.

Well i got all the headrest on now. I am uploading pictures now of the interior. I just need to put the headrest on in the front seats is all as i am painting the thing under the headrest that holds the seatbelt black as mine was gray. Here are the pics. Going to wrap the middle of the door panels this weekend in leather which will make my interior look even better.
