i like the flat black look, but i dunno about on a cobalt. I saw a 07 ZO6 that was all blacked out with a flat black paint job that looked sick as hell

i dont think it would look good

and your car is white!

Flat black always looks like the person who painted their car used 10 cans of spray paint and cheaped out on the project.

As a person who drives the same kind of car as you I am begging you, don't be that guy.

i paint cars for a liveing the only way it is going to cost you $1000.00 is if you take it to maaco. Just the black base and mat clear is going to cost a grand plan on atleast 3 g's to have a body shop do it. It's not as quick and easy as most people think if you get it done get the door jambs sprayed also. for instance this truck here i did just the front end flame job and reclearing it $1300.00 and it's not even that cool

my first airbrush job ever $350.00

meh...black is the SICKEST color for a car (thats why mine is black). HOWEVER, as we all know, it only looks sexy when it is clean. and black shows dirt and scratches more than any other color. every time i wash and detail my car a little part of me dies inside because i see the scratches that ******* drivers leave on my car b/c they don't know how to drive in parking lots, or from the rock chips that eat up my hood. Stick to silver or white, they look clean and dont show marks as much

you'll drop acouple grand for the paint job, and then another couple hundred each year getting it touched up...

in my opinion, not worth it

greekss flat black does not show scratches half as bad as gloss the only down fall to flat is that minor scratches cannot be wetsanded and buffed out or it makes the flat black glossy

i think on a silver ss/sc it would look sick if you went two tone, flat black on top, silver on bottom and a small red pinstripe
