Lovin the car except the rims

 

the paint is actually coming off them, anywasy, i just put them on there bc they were 16's, very light, and when i bought new tires for my stock rims (245/45/18) they didn't fit......the new rims I'm getting are Volk RE-30 take offs..........

 

Umm i made myself a custom lower grill with the ss painted on it and mine is center and looks good, but man you should have thought about the placement of the heat exchanger or intercooler which ever that is and not made the ss look way low. But nice car.

 

I made it centered on the h/e....unfortunately, once mounted with the brackets it does sit a lil low, but not too much, depends on the angle, appreciate the comments, keep em' coming..........

thanx, more to come real soon, I'll have my car where I want it by new years......hopefully, minor setbacks like the fact that I need new brakes....so now I have to upgrade them (turned stock rotors 3 times already, lol.....I'm pretty sure they're at the discard)....so that's $400 I wasn't looking to spend........

Had tint, got pulled over, and had to take them off, getting it done again before christmas, bc I hate riding w/o it.....here's the pics of the rims, I already ordered them off ebay last week, they shipped yesterday, but I have to save money for tires.......

 

those wheels are going to look awesome. Now you gotta lower that 4x4.

 

lol, I know, I was about to order the K Sport springs but now I've hit my wear indicator on my brakes in the front and my rears are getting there so I have to save for that, and the reason I bought the rims already was bc I went through a drive through car wash last week (since I'm finally wingless, lol) and when I came out the paint came off one of my rims...slightly, letting me know that I need to get rid of them....fast.......

 

when i saw the front emblem and the partial debadge, i thought it was my car.

the black emblem up front makes the grill look so much better. and the spoiler-less look is quite sexy.

 

looks great. rims imo arent bad but i think its mainly the dul look is bad. those new ones you had pics of are sweet.

lol, i would man, but its the only cooling mod i have and you know its hard to get ahold of these CA ones.......once, you have yours on, u and kanabrewski will have the best all around balts in NC...keep up the good mods.......thanks for the comments too.....

i duno tho, i'm debating between the CA H/E and a cobra H/E... seem to do the same thing.. ah hell, idk.. lol.. I'll prolly wait until next spring to do any cooling mods anyway..

 

why the narrowband gauge?

 

i used to run a 2.85" pulley, and wanted to see how rich the GM tune was at idle, bc to this day, I still set a CEL for running rich........

and it mostly occurs when I'm at idle for more than 5 minutes.....like a long stop light or if I'm in traffic it'll set......
