I'm sure you'll have the same results as any other non-brand name digital ballast...

i see your just asking about this specific ballast, but i read in your post your looking for hids for ur sisters car. do yourself and your sister a favor and get a REAL hid kit.

BUYHIDS.COM

not trying to be a dick, but you will waste your money on them kits and they wont work and you will just end up buying a legit kit from another company. buyhids.com is where its at. ive ordered 2 hid kits from them and a set of retros from them. ive not had one single problem so far.

good luck with your search buddy

On the quality chart.

Ebay<Generic/aftermarket hid(ddm,buyhids,3bspec)<Morimoto<OEM (Denso,Matsushita)

One thing most don't know about aftermarket ballasts is that they don't put out their rated wattage. Aftermarket ballasts are rated by how much power they consume, not put out. In reality they actually put out something like 24-27 watts. OEM will actually output 35 watts, and will consume something like 42 watts.

Long story short. OP stay away from the cheap junk. If you want it to last, buy the good stuff.

Yeaa, I have a set of ddm slim ballast HIDs already, I'm probably gonna order from them again. I'm also working on a set of retros with Murano projectors right now. I kinda wish I got the mini d2s kit from TRS now though, looks a lot easier to install than the murano projectors are. I just thought it was odd when I saw these kind of ballasts compared to all of the other ones I've seen before.
