That does look good! And the updated PCV air inlet tube looks and fits better than the previous version. Color match on my screen for whatever thats worth, looks excellent, automotive paint to powdercoat matches are a struggle at best. Thanks for choosing genuine Powell hardcore raceparts!

PS out of the same batch, another color but this is what they look like underneath. Thats important, and we have been working on it, and have improved our process to first clean the used covers, and then keep them clean throughout the media blast and coating jobs.Name: DSCN7828_zps2a2e65b1.jpg

Looks good.

How do you ensure that none of the media blasting gets left behind in the oil baffles?

Mongorat tells all my secrets... took two cylinder heads, (lnf/lsj) close your eyes because they have to be complete, make blanking plates for the head surface and the inlet.exhaust ports, hp pump and cps prts, plug pcvs, put a gasket on the cover and bolt up,

blast clean prep coat bake done.

these cylinder heads will never run in a car again...

ps we wash prior to and after the entire process. Hot tank the cover first.

all this for 110-150? I am crazy.

but I love it.

crap that looks good. I had trouble finding the textured yellow powder, got some out of Louisiana of all places, but I didnt like the flat finish it left. So I cleared it and re baked it , after polishing the ecotec, and it did come out well...

Those are beautiful. Powell always delivers great stuff for the price. We get way more than what we pay for.
My cobalt is on the backburner for now, but I can see a bunch of his stuff going in my car as soon as I get more funds for it.
