Exclamation Nickel interior

Anyone has a black/black interior but with nickel trim?

I'd like to see how it looks as my car has the CF trim I'm thinking of changing it to nickel one (I think the cobalts have it?) so it matches the steering and door inserts.

Plus, it looks really fake and the black trim makes the interior even darker..

the only pics I found of nickel trim were on sedans with black/gray interior

I want to see it on an all black one like mine

thanks!

Do you mean the silver trim like all the cobalt SS/SCs (and others) have? It matches the silver trim on your doors around the switches.

You should be able to get that stock trim cheap from some guys here on this forum. There are some custom sets out there.

In '05 Chevy called that silver/nickel color "titanium"!! Makes it sound expensive even though it is only painted plastic!

well I don't like the fact that it doesn't match up with the rest, I originally wanted a dash trim kit to change the silver parts to CF but after getting samples they weren't even close to matching my stock CF trim.

seems like the only pics I can find with the silver trim have silver radio and A/C

I want to know how it'd look with my black ones..

noone has that?

Yeah, sorry, don't know what to tell ya. The only person who would have silver with a black radio would be someone who has switched. I think it would look good though.

what I'm concerned with though is that from this:

it looks like the middle part of the console (passenger airbag info) comes with it, I don't want to change that, I want that part to stay silver!

But I guess there's a way to take it off as GM's accessory kit doesn't change that part

ya your best bet for the steering wheel things is, if u can take them off and paint them, duplicolor actually makes a spray can in the same EXACT color. i did it on mine when i had to redo them form wear and tear.

Thanks for the offer, I'll inquire about the price new and then I'll consider shipping costs and everything as we're not exactly close to each other!

I think I might like to keep my stock parts but we'll see, should get price quotes soon enough, I'll keep you updated.

Meanwhile I did a little photoshop of how it might look

the chrome pieces are the same stuff as the door edge guards you can buy at any parts store and use it on you grills too, if you want the chrome look. The guy is just cutting the pieces for you.

I know alot of guys want to trade to the cf look over the satin/nickel/titanium, but only the G5's have the cf look and the balts the other.
