I wouldnt leave the reverse lights white on a 2dr but just make sure if you go around 6+ coats you might need to get a brighter led bulb for the reverse lights

Im about to go do mine, all the lights are out but Im waiting for my bowties to finish before I start.
Prolly gonna go with like ten coats or so, and maybe a few clear coats.
And I got my new bulbs, ha.

Btw, third brake light is a bitch to get out.
And unless you feel like ruining your weather seal, better have some painters tape.

In Illinois anyway, your tail lights just have to emit a red light, the actual lens doesn't have to be red.

You dont have to nightshade the 3rd brake light i bought a tinted overlay off of ebay that will look like it has been tinted but i wont have to do the extra work

Its all worth it
But I hope yours fits alot better than some I've seen.
Most dont cover the entire thing, so if you line it up perfect there'll be a little ring around it but if you don't it just looks awful.

However, I have finished my tails with about five or six coats of spray and one good coat of clear.
They look pretty good, I just hope they dry nicely.

Im glad someone shares my excitement.
Little uneasy though cause my brother snapped my front bowtie in half.
So we glued it and sanded it down and put some tape on the back so it'd hold up through paint.
I just hope it doesnt break.
I really overdid it on layers of paint so you couldn't see the crack.
