nightshade question

how dim does nightshade make the reverse lights? does it pretty much make them useless?

replace your reverse lights with bright ass LED's

but 3 coats will black the lights out for the most part

ya 3 coats will make them to the point where there just black, but light will still pass through the paint

i think the brake lights are more important than the reverse lights

and i did 3 coats, really isnt that bad. butttt its not what i wanted, its really dim at night and cant even see them when its sunny.

yeah... Basically, if someone were behind you they would see your reverse lights on. But if you actually use the light to back up, it pretty much eliminates that for ya.

i used a **** load and all my lights were really dim (reverse lights useless) but then i sanded them with 1500 then 2500 and buffed and waxed them and now they look sweet and are still dim but i can actuially see the lights behind me now

ohh and where can u gett the l.e.ds at for the reverse lights i got one burnt out

even with 3 coats the brake lights are still easily visible at night (espically when pressing the brake)

Now granted, I have a G5 so the reverse lights are separate, but I did two coats of Niteshades and a two coats of duplicolor clear coat and they're black for the most part but you can see them pretty well during the day.

thanks and just taped off the crom and black spray paint lol.. when i wet sanded and buffed the trunk i did the badge too, and it made it look alot better

if the rear bowtie is the same as the front then the actual gold part and the chrome part are two separate pieces; when i painted my front bowtie i pried them apart and didnt have to worry about taping anything off so it worked nicely, then epoxy back on lol but either way works, looks nice man
