Oops sorry tommy i missed this post before haha. Clearcoating after makes it look wayyy glossier. Spray desired tint level and let dry. Then load the crap out of it with clear with heavy coats. Almost to the point it wants to run. It then gets rid of most of the orange peel look and makes it easier to sand. Let that dry, wetsand them till totally smooth and wax the crap out of em after and they come out flawless and shiny as hell. Ive done a lot of trial and error with tinting lol

The second time you did them they turned out really nice! I VHT'ed my tails and used just a spraybomb clear. 3 coats of VHT and 2 thicker coats of clear. I haven't gotten a chance to buff them yet but they turned out alright:
