nite shades question
Thanks. There's a fine line between black and tinted. You just gotta know where to draw the line though. People like the blacked out look, but it isn't my thing. The shade I did fits the car perfect. The only bad part about tinting lights the way I do it, is that a coat will rub off. say if you want the look of only 2 coats like mine, you end up spraying three and 1 coat will eventually buff off. The only reason why is because there isn't any clear for the compound to cut into. It might sound weird on how I do it compared to others, but all my buddies let me do their's and absolutely love the look of them.
there is a moron in every site and you my friend are it.... you really dont know shyt about vinyl nor should you speak up about it.... lol maybe next time have a pro install it for you and maybe you will get desired results.... btw i have wrap so many cars in vinyl and lights with perfect results.... i guess your just to cheap to have a pro do it for you.... i will tell you straight up its all in the hands of the installer.... so keep being a amature, keep spouting off, its you who only looks like a fool..... and to anyone who buys ebay crap, you are the ones looking to have problems.... do yourself a favour and hire a pro to do it.... and have them supply the material.... ebay sells crap material and then it gets installed by people who dont know nothing about it.....

Just saying....
Anyway. Nightshade. To me it always has had somewhat of a matte look to it. That's why I bought painted tails.
You insults would carry at least some weight if you would take a minute to get your spelling right. I mean, if you're going to call someone an amateur fool, spell it right, or you make yourself look the bigger fool.

and seriously if spelling is what makes you look like a fool then we are all fools.... coz no one has perfect grammer and also we canadians have diff spelling for alot of words then americans.... which in some examples you would look like a fool for correcting me..... get the point?
thus i will appoligies for my typo
Vinyl is definitely the way to go however, I've seen great results both ways. I've done nightshades on my Teg back in the day and they looked great.
Lol crooked plate, oh and no lights on just flash from camera. I actually sprayed them darker, and cut more coatings off towards the center to give the edges a darker look while allowing good visibility.

I never did Vinyl on my car/s, but a lot of my friends have and every time they come out great. Always a nice gloss, if that is what you're going for. If you want great results from both methods you need to know what your doing, plain and simple.

the problem starts when the individual does not properly prepare the light..... you must scuff sand the light first.... then spray your desired darknesss.... then use a high quality clear..... then results will be good.... however most dont scuff sand the light..... then they use a crap clear..... lol i will share a story about one of the first meets i attended.... this guy was proud of the job he done on his tails.... he even went as far to mask a image into the spray.... i will admit it was cool.... then he touch a piece of the image and low and behold it fell right off the light.... trying not to laugh or be sarcastic i was like hmmmm well it was a cool image.... he was so mad.... i simply said next time you need to scuff the light then it should hold.... or i could have printed you the image in vinyl and then wrapped you light and you would never have to worry....
whatever bro.... think what you want i made a simple typo.... go play teacher with someone else.... you do what you do for a living i will stick to customizing cars...
