Niteshades

I bought some and I'm about to do my 3rd brake light and black out my side markers. Question I have is do I HAVE to sand them before I do it? What will happen if i do or dont??

atleast scuff them witha gray scuff pad and water to get some scratches in it or your it will peel later.

i didnt and mine never flaked, chipped or anything. didnt clear them so they got kinda shitty after a year

just a wet sand. cleans off all the dirt and scuffs it is all really. makes the paint stick better and not bubble up

I don't recommend using anything lower than 1500 on the markers. Thin coats will actually show up wrong if you don't clear coat it enough after the initial layers of VHT. Good luck and in for pictures =)
