non-projector headlight install?

Hey guys.

I've pulled my headlights out a few times to replace my h/l bulbs as well as my corner bulbs. However, I want to install the black OEM style headlights. I know I can paint mine for like 10 dollars, but I need to keep my stock chrome ones around for later. Regardless, the link for the lights I'm getting is below. My bain questions are as follows:

1. This are totally legal and will still pass inspection, correct? I'd assume since people put projectors in aftermarket, and these lights are identical to the darkness of my moms Mustang lights..

2. Do I have to use any parts from my OEM ones to install these?

3. Will these fit totally OEM style?

4. Do I have to re-wire anything?

5. All of the installs I've seen are for projectors. How do you install these? Is it literally pulling out the old bulbs and putting them into the new housing? Anything else?

Thanks in advance..

it looks like they're plug and play. take the old ones out put the new ones in. i THINK lights are legal as long as you still have that amber part on the side, which it does (over here anyway) but as long as the lights work, his and lows, i don't see why it wouldn't pass inspection. as far as fitment, they look like they'll fit fine but you never know. maybe someone else that has bought them can chime in on that.

i just bought mine and installed them a few days ago... it was a direct plug and play however i did have to trim down the plastic nipple thats closes to the fender, just took a knife and trimmed it alittle, but it was very very easy and mine came with bulbs already installed so just unplug your factorys and plug in the new ones and bolt them down
