Not Your Normal HID Question
Alright, so I bought another car.
It came stock with HID's
There DS1 bulbs and from my best guess I would say there somewhere in and around that 4000k mark. That goes both the Hi's and Low's.
My question is, can I get another DS1 bulb with a higher temp. rating and just swap them out. I was thinking around 5000-6000k, and I only wanted to do the low beams.

Thanks guys.
Yeah.. $658 per bulb is luda.
I think I'll stick to the Philips.
I however do want the LED that piaa makes for the halo's (The car is a 2010 BMW 135i) to turn them into CCFL looking rings rather than the halogen look they have now. However $250 per bulb is just as crazy. I'm pretty sure I read about another company that makes them for alot cheaper
Thanks for the info

They look sexy as hell...they're just a tad too small for my liking for some reason. I was playing around with one at the auto show and it felt like I was trying to get into a Lotus Elise or something. That's the twin turbo one right? If so....:drool

Yeah
3.0L Twin Turbo V6=300hp/300lb-ft
I like the 3 series as well, they have such a sexy look to them, however the price difference from the 135i to the 335i was like $15,000 (and mine has the M package on it, the 335 price is without the M package) plus the 1's are about 700lbs lighter. At $55,000 when it was all said and done, the 1 was all I was willing spend right now.
Besides the balt was looking lonely in the garage so I figured it needed some company
