10mm is 6x1.0 metric thread, FYI.

And, my nuts are huge, just in case you were wondering. GF always asks why I have such big ***** and such a small dick...

You can take apart the entire car with a 10mm ratchet/wrench just about, jeeze. Even the damn headlight bracket bolts are 10mm.. wing bolts are 10mm.. Yessir, just a 10mm ratchet and you can play "Jiggsaw the Cobalt back together" with it.

Just in case there is any confusion here...

The socket size of the nut might be 10mm (I don't actually know, I'm just reading the thread), and the nut itself might be a 10-32, but the "10" in 10-32 has nothing to do with the 10mm socket. In fact, 10-32 is an english measurement.

if you haven't figured it out yet...you really should not be working on your car.if you cant take a socket set and try a socket on the nut till it fits then you should not be working on your car at all. is it really that compicated?

everyone has already told you what nut it is and your still asking..........read, fix , and be done with the problem

I acually said thank you cause I got my answer a while back. So im not still asking. Reading>you. And 10mm is the socket size jackass. The nut itself is a 10-32. I didnt feel like taking the a nut off and bringing it into the hardware store and try to match it up.
