i want a matching extreme dimensions one not happy with vis quality and its turning yellow

 

dang turning yellow? gonna sell it cheap to someone? i wonder if that can be fixed. possibly but doubtful and it would take some skill

 

yea VIS is no bueno and yea not cheap but already got somebody who wants it you can just sand it down and get it recleared probably cost $100-150

but like i said i like the extreme dimensions parts better

 

nah i dont want it i was just thinking out loud. because if its the clear thats yellowing its as easy as you said but theres a chance it could be the epoxy resin they used thats yellowing and if thats the case it would be incredibly difficult to save it if even possible

 

anyone have an oem cf hood they wanna off??

 

yea i know i already talked to bodyshop about it even when i get my new trunk he recomended clearing it since my car is outside 24/7 lol

 

yup adding some good clear on top def wont hurt

 

That happened to my rk sport cf hood, had it color matched to the car

The resin was fucked

 

My stuff doesn't go on without going to the body shop for clear first

 

when you get in cleared do i just need them to scuff and then shoot the clear?

 

im sure the body shop knows how to clear it but i would assume a wetsand type deal before spraying

 

does that happen to all the rk sport cf hoods??

 

will pretty much happen to any cf over time
