thanks.. i was considering flat black. im gonna reapint the entire thing one last time prolly when i get my motor rebuild and i stop daily driving the car.. i might redo it all in flat black.

has anyone used vinyl for the "evo" mod? I'm weary about painting it, and would rather have something that i could take off if desired...

 

I'm not really sure how well this will be taken, but I am an artist, and I think the black ss ppl should try chrome... I mean it works for v dub... I think it'll look pretty good. And yes they have chrome paint.

 

I've been considering this in Ultra Silver Metallic (wheel color). Would probably work as well as anything on black.

most people have rattle canned this few have done it the right way and personally i think chrome would look terrible but i am not a fan of chrome

 

I think the best thing for black cobalts to do, is not ******* paint an evo mod. If you must, do FLAT BLACK.

ive had mines for a while. i think it kinda makes the car stand out alittle bit more. ive liked it so far

Well I'm not a fan of chrome either. Maybe someone with photoshop can post a pic of what it would look like. I rattle canned my base model and haven't had a problem yet except for when someone hit my car in a parking lot and didn't leave a note :-l

 

i just wanted to see it done with a rattle can so i can see the turn out cause i no some on here use an actual spray gun so i jus wanted to see the difference
