Anyone who is interested in the black housing headlights, this is a pretty good deal from the research I have done on these lights. The brand is ANZO. I bought some earlier for $168.95 shipped. If you decide to buy them make sure to enter the discount code in the cart. The free shipping is automatic. http://www.autoanything.com/lights/6...0A2668617.aspx

It would be nice to see the actual item instead of some sample item for another car. The headlights in the pic in that link are not the actual product and will not actually fit the Cobalt. I'm not trying to start anything, but I never buy unless I know exactly what I'm getting.

Lol! My bad. Too pricey though. They are just OEM headlights with a black housing. You could save yourself a lot of money and some time (when you consider time for shipping and handling) by following this: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...int+headlights

Thats for people that actually have the time to do it lol. Yea its not the lights that show up on top of the page. Black housing was the key word

Or get smoked vinyls. Those are real easy to do on sedan tails

They're actually insanely bright I'm sure I blind everyone. And I like the blacked out/smoked look. I just don't want too much cause I don't want to be harassed by cops. That's one reason why I want to be able to remove them easily. The problem is where I live it's a small island and your bound to run into the same cop sooner or later very often and then the cop's just gonna get pissed cause you haven't removed the black out tails when he said to so yeah. No need for drama.

For an '06 Silver SS/SC...Generation 1, 2, or 3 halo projectors? I hear generation 1 the coating peels easily, the life on generation 2's isn't that great...and haven't heard much on generation 3's. Enlighten me :-)

What's a good site for me to get Gen1's? Someplace that has reliable non-shitty projectors and is quick to ship them out?
