heres pics of my 1st gen projectors. the only issue i had is that the right side headlight burnt out twice in 6 months. did some research, they are just crap bulbs. may be better to go to gen 2 with H7 bulbs. also, here is my tails. fully functional brake and turn lights...

and the tails

Damn, I want black headlights, but geez...$200 or paint them yourself for $25 or less....kind of a rip it seems.

well i look at it this way id rather buy new headlights and sell the old ones cause someone always wants stock lights... plus... if you take them lights apart and paint them..... 9 times out of 10 condensation will find its way no matter how good you think you seal them....

I have these tail lights in the mail on the way right now

edit: found it. UPDATED 1ST POST WITH LIST

1st gen - H1 Bulb
2nd Gen CCFL - H7 Bulb
3rd Gen with LED in the bottom - H1 Bulb
my 2nd gens bulbs are h1 for hi-beam and h7 for low-beam. the h1 bulb uses one quick plug connection and the h7 has two.

the h1's have given me some problems... went out twice in 6 months. i would not suggest getting 1st gen as all of the H1 bulbs are crap, whether its a knock off or brand name like Sylvania (like the ones that went out on me)

I deffinately want the Modern Performance LED tails and if any are left, the LED 3rd tail.

Also my idea for headlights.. find a cheap stock OEM set, split em open, paint them black, remove the orange reflectors. Then I'll find some cheap projectors and build them into the housing, followed up with some white LEDs on the bottom edge of the housings to replicate Audi A5/S5/R8 headlights. Someone on this site did something similar but used too many blue LEDs and used some of those 2nd or 3rd gen projector housings. It'll be a project but I'm ready to get that done in summer time.

And to add to that, with the LEDs i'd like them to be the auto daytime running lamps and not the main lights - which btw will be 6 or 8K HIDs behind those projectors i'd like to put in.

stupid question... cant find it anywhere else... when you get projectors and hids do you lose your auto lights? then have to manually turn your headlights on and off?

i dont have have HIDS, but i would assume that they are done with a relay. So the HIDs are plug and play with your factory harness so it shouldnt have anything to do with your daytime running lights.

I want 2nd gens for sure.. CCFL is worth it. I still haven't really heard any confirmation on whether or not the 2nd gen uses H1 or H7 for low beam. I know H1s have issues with burning out. If 2nd gens use H1s for lows, not good, hi beams, not nearly as big of an issue.
