i even have the nightshades ready.....

but i worry about the possibility of an accident, and a person saying "I couldnt see his tail lights"

I still havent decided whether its worth that risk...

That would be bullshit if they said that!!!! Ive been pulled over about 8times (day and night) and NO cop has said that they were even alittle dark. Mine are very dark but when they light up you can even tell there tinted....

How many coats would you say, before you can start to tell them are tinted/dimmer with the lights on?

 

I worried about he same thing....but then you see them lit up and you see that its all good

 

VHT Nite shades-4 coats
Krylon Fusion clear coat-8 coats

 

when yours are lit up with 4 coats ionferight.....does it pretty much look the same as stock?

 

I had been told they didnt light up enough in the day time but looked ok at night

We have been pulled over before. Only problem they gave us was no red or reflector to the back. Which is why we let the little red in the corners. The cops said the light out put was good during the. Brake lights were clear. Didn't even give us a ticket. Verbal warning.
