Gen 1 morimoto projectors or Gen 1 halo eBay headlights? If it's eBay headlights, I don't think I would even pull apart the stock headlights to install those in there - it would be almost reduction in light output... I'd invest in some Morimoto projectors...

I'd go with V3 Triton switchbacks in blacked out turn signal housing.

Love seeing people using full sized shrouds and not the cheap/weak as Mini Gatling's

I do have A set of retros that I made myself from the buyhid group buy, but my gf wanted a set for her car and I stumbled upon a set of gen 1 projectors with halos and everything for mad cheap. I was thinking about stripping the projectors out and putting them in my spare set of ss headlights.

Damn.. you're right. Probably should have.
Bought the set of retros pretty cheap off another member on here. They were in pretty tough shape when I got them and I've spent the last week re-painting and fixing them. If I didn't get those switchbacks that came with it I probably would have gone the V3 route.

finally got in the last few stages of mounting and I consider these aimed finally!! the duct tape marks are where my OEM MH1 Retros were aimed at

low beam aiming

high beam aiming (note: the high beam solonoids are disconnected to allow me to properly aim all 4 projectors. Actual high beams will be absurdly bright without a cutoff)

you do realize its probably just a 3" projector lense not much different in output than what you can purchase at TRS anyways right?

btw. prices I found were $10k from the dealership new.. and $6500 for a pair used.... omg you've got to be shitting me
