Ok am I missing something; HID install questions..

Ok so I proceeded to start my HID install today, before we go any further I've installed about 20 of these kits on various vehicles including my Bike so I'm not afraid of 'em

I removed the two bolts that hold the headlight assembly in and I was unable to finagle the headlamp out. So I grabbed the OEM service manual and the first step in removing the headlamp assemblies says "Remove Front Fasica" WTF?! Every picture I've seen on here shows people installing these without removing the fasica.

That said I jump over to the fascia removal instructions and step one of removing the fascia is remove the headlamps?!?! WTF Someone has a sick sense of humor LOL so did anyone have to remove thier fascia to get these in and if not do you have any tips/tricks for getting the headlamp assemblies out without trashing the fascia?

Thanks!

Ironic isnt it? You just have to play around with them to get them out. Make sure you get the 2 tabs on the bottom out first. Other than that its just wiggling lol

Also, I had to remove the little plastic fasteners holding the front facia/grill on so I could get mine off.

just pull back on the fascia a lil bit towards you, push the inside corners of the headlight down into the car and wiggle them out

When you put them back in, I would suggest putting a microfiber towel or something down on inner corner of the bumper so you don't mess it up, mine is all spidered cause I didnt.

Yeah, they come out pretty easy if you know what you are doing. The first time is a little difficult until you get it out and look at it and say "ah, duh!"
