Talking opinions please :)

new here '07 cobalt.

any opinions on whether i should get vinyl eyelids or if i should paint? They look the same; right?

Also, Eibach Sportlines or Pro kit?

And do you all think i should get wheels first, then lower it? Or lower then wheels?

sportlines and about the eyelids either would be fine.. I find that painting them on is just a cheaper way of doing it
and wheels are u talking about rims and tires or just tires and if so what is wrong with your tires? But I find rims are a investment ,I would go for the lowering springs first.

Okay. I was leaning towards the sportlines, my boyfriend has them on his focus, just wanted another opinion haha...

And I'm talking rims. Nothing is wrong with the tires, they're good.

Go with the vinyl cause then if you want to ever change it you can peel it right off cant do that with paint. Then lower it then think about wheels cause you will want to know how much clearance you have and whether or not you want to tuck the tire into the wheel well.

If you're lazy, then go with the vinyl. If you feel like working on your car, then paint them.

go with the vinyl. But isn't there pre made plastic eye lids out there? I think that would be better than vinyl. IMO

I don't find any right now from some few quick searches.

I would just get the overlays from ebay.

Mine are vinyl. But the red doesn't really match the victory red of the car, so I had to paint it too

What color car u got? Cuz if itsnot black and u get vinyls. Then u have to buy a set in black so the light don't shine thru. Then you can either get a set of ur color car or paint over it

I've seen the premade cut out vinyl ones on ebay, but I just went to a sign/decal shop and bought a big ass roll of vinyl for like $5 and did it myself.

and whoever said doing it in vinyl is lazy, is sadly mistaken, I said more cuss words putting those eyelids on and trying to make them look right than probably everyone in my previous generation has said in thier life.

I myself painted mine, but the only twist is i did it when I baked my lights and painted housing black. So I painted them on the inside of lens Looks great in my eyes much cleaner looking. But thats more work and therefore I say paint inside of lens but if you feel a little lazier then do vinyl. I wouldn't paint outside of lens though. I would post pics but I just took pics like 5 mins ago and am still at work.

i would do wheels and lowering at the same time. as for the sportlines or pro kits it depends on what you want...pro kit is like a medium ride height and sportlines is low as ya' go
