Ordering HIDS now, please help!

I am ordering HIDS for my stock headlights (dont bother complaining, I am getting them) but i have no idea what to order. What kind of bulb do i need? what is bixenon and all that crap. i know the stock headlights have hi and lo beam all in one headlight, is that what bixenon is? I find my stock hi's aren't any better than my low's, can this be fixed with hids? I need to order tomorrow so i want to know exactly everything i need. I am ordering from ddm tuning. The best help of all would be if soembody told me exactly what to choose from this page.
HID Kits, BMW Aftermarket Bumpers & Lighting, DEPO - DDM Tuning

thanks guys

I know The ddm hids are nice. I had them on my truck. I was about to order mine soon and didn't know what to get either. I was looking at $75 for the Setup.

excellent, thanks. Relay harness is definitely needed? how blue are 6000k? I want bright white with a very very slight blueish tint, would 5000k be better do you think? i know there is a guide on the site but im wondering what you guys think by actually seeing them in person.

6000k is bright white with a slight tint of blue. I would recommend a harness. The first time I installed my HIDS I had to put the harness in due to flickering.

ok thanks man! Also, if anybody is selling a set of black retros For a reasonable price I will buy them if they have hids installed, I could only do it if its for like 185shipped though which is my reasoning for not even bothering to make a thread in the classifieds since i know that's unlikely.

I would get 55w 6k honestly. I had 35w 6k and they was nice but 55w are brighter with a lil more blue in them. I never used a harness before and mine never flickered.

i thought i read before 55k is too much. Is it true it gives off too much heat and can damage the housing? also i have my inner housings painted black, it isn't done with high temp paint, can this be affected too?

i believe 55 watt drowns out the color of the HID as well. I would recommend getting a relay harness also. DDM tuning is pretty awesome imo.

I would suggest...

9007 Bi-Xenon 6,000k 35w + Relay Harness. We do not carry 55w Bi-Xenon kits. Honestly 35w kit is plenty bright and will out power your stock lights. PM with with any questions and also note, Our Bi-Xenon kits are TRUE Bi-Xenons. Unlike competitors whos kits use a bulb that goes in/out, Ours tilt giving you a more true High beam that out shines your stock highbeams.
