not too bad as in i took some plasti dip and sprayed one coat over, let it dry and hit it with 2 coats of clear and bam all done.

i used the krylon fusion clear or you can use the dupli color (color match clear coat) also works really good. Make sure when you do the plasti dip you get nice smooth coats and not rough because then it wont look nice and shiny and do the same with the clear coat nice smooth coats but be sure to not put too much on at once or it will run i always use a hair dryer to help the process, if you have any other questions let me know.

Those are aftermarket wheels you're talking about, right? And the problem is chipping or coming off or something of that sort?

Even after cleaning with grease and wax remover? That's what I used right before spraying. They suggest cleaning with alcohol on their site, but I'm sure you've already done this.

If you just have plastidip on your wheels they will peel off no problem. I've had mine plastidipped two different colors now, once with glossifier and once without and they both peeled the same.

Goo Gone works wonders. I had a really thin spot on mine that wouldn't peel. Took a little bit of goo gone on a paper towel it took it right off.

How did keep the logo black and make the center cap silver? Did you have to cut the plasti dip around emblem or did it peel that way?
