Took my car to be painted, whole thing. Got it today and it looks horrible.

Over spray is everywhere, I dont think they taped anything off, its even ALL in the headlights. I dont even know how dumb you have to be to let it happen.

Has about 4 runs in it, and 2 spots they 'missed' completly.

Overspray covered the under side of the car.

I take it back to have the runs out monday, and I have a list of SIXTEEN other things wrong with it. Yes SIXTEEN.

Advice?

should have done your research on the shop first, but thats besides the point. if its that messed up threaten legal action. how much did you pay?

I did, my friend had his done there looks amazing, and I have had work there before done great.

I SPENT ALL DAY TODAY CLEANING THAT OFF, AND THE ENTIRE UNDERSIDE OF THE CAR.

There lucky it all came off.

 

They can fix it or get sued, choice is theirs...

just playing, was it a cheap job? cause you do get what you pay for, ESPECIALLY for PAINT

 

But how hard is it to tape the car off? It takes 15 minutes and would have saved them a day or 2 of work, cause now there gna have to fix it

Dude I would of not let that car leave their shop if I paid 3 grand, thats no single stage maco price.
