Brake Fluid, just dont leave it on there for to long. Then use some cleaner to clean it off.

someone told me vasoline, I dont know if it would work or not but thats what they said, I dont know why they would lie, you know?

if it would work, I think it would be easier then brake fluid, because you can control where it goes, just my thought.

You dont pour the brake fluid on the tails. hahahahaha. You dampen the cloth with brake fluid. Durr.

You're not bathing the tail lights, just removing the paint.

you're better of removing all the paint from the tails and then masking off the reverse lights and repainting them,

it'l make a cleaner finished product

If you read the first post, thats not what he is trying to do. He is leaving everything the same but wants to take off the paint on his reverse lights and leave everything the same.

Im not trying to argue with you, so dont take any offense from this, but...

I think he said that "someone" told him that it would work and that he "was wondering if it would work".

So he never stated that it will for a fact remove it.

well I just removed all the tint off my tail lights and very easily too. but the way you just freaking bashed me for giving you advice for what SOMEONE TOLD me, why the heck should I even try to help you. Sorry for TRYING to help you out, as the other kid stated, as I did too, I said I didnt know if it work. Its just what I heard. But thats alright, you're smart. That's why you're asking how to do it, right?

I used Sherwin Williams Reducer No. 15
R7 K 15.

have fun, dont do it indoors, you'll knock yourself out.

and btw, brake fluid didnt workk for me, so I guess that gives me the right to make fun of you guys?
Maybe brake cleaner would be better.

- and thanks wardzach for at least sticking up for me a little bit.
