paint remover on tails?

did it cleanly remove the paint, so if i repaint them, it will look good as new ?

just take off all the paint off of it.. paint thinner will work just fine aircraft remover (dont keep it on there long) brake fluid, brake parts cleaer if u scrub a whole bunch of stuff but its not going to come out good if u think u are going to use a rag and swirl it around.. it will look like **** just redo the entire thing... you'll be happy you did

I just removed mine the other day, and I am getting niteshade shipped in, so in a little bit I will tell you if it looks the same if you want to wait a little bit. But I dont see why it wouldnt, the look like regular stock tail lights with my tint removed. No sign of tint left on them at all.

ahhh. I did my tail lights but ended up with not exaggerating, about 15 layers of tint/clear coat. So it goes without saying it didnt come out the best. I mean it looked great, it just didnt shine like I see everyone else's on this site shine. So after about 3 days of thinking about it the whole day, I decided to just redo it. So thats why. Just not happy with the original outcome, probably the same reason why you are redoing it, aye?
