Is the side marker a reflector..??
I'm thinking you could get away with not having it show if you replaced the bulb with a yellow one....

I think you will be fine at 175 degrees just don't leave the headlamp assembly in the oven for 20 min... Start with 10 min. and see if you can get it apart if not go for a few more...Just keep an eye on it....

It is our side marker for the front end of our cars so it is a reflector as well...BUT you do not want to take it out and leave it out, it will be ugly....It's not the reflector that looks bad, it is the amber plastic IMO....

Don't tell me that....I hope not...What sealant did you use? Try removing all th sealants and start with some fresh sealant/adhesive...

Thanks again everyone!

Correct....The amber lens has 2 tabs that you just press a small screw driver in and pop it out....It's easier to do than explain... Once you have the headlamp apart then you will see...

Mark, now all you need is a projector in each head lamp!

For the people who disassembled their headlights, are you guys having any condensation or fogging happening in the headlight housing or no?

Fogging can be avoided by using a plastic polish on the inside lens as well as using new sealant to reseal the lamps.

The cobalt looks so hot with black headlights. I have no clue why GM made them the way they did.
I used 3M Windsheald sealer to do mine. No leaks here.

Get a heat gun. It makes it about 100x easer!
