Painting my bowties

I think I want to keep both of them on the car. It's a laser blue 07 sc. I think they'd look good in black, but then I might want try to paint the SS badges black. Would the bowties look terrible in white?

I guess I'm just looking for opinions and if anyone has pictures of these.

remove the rear bowtie or paint it black. Paint front bowtie black.

I think white could look ok on the front one. But it'd be too much on the back, I think I'd have to remove it. My other option is to paint both black. I guess I could always paint it again if I change my mind,

Is it a laser blue outline? Even then I don't know if it's worth the trouble, spraypaint is pretty cheap.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but how do you remove/re-attach the bowties?

remove with fishing line, attack with double-sided tape. Unless you meant the front. It unscrews somehow, I think.

front unscrews, rear, you can just pop off the gold part and leave the chrome so after you paint it you no its still centered lol

I just taped on the back, worked great, both times lol it took a bit of time to tape perfectly over the "chrome" outline lol

I must have been lucky. Yea I had a trunk one on the front for a while. I have no idea where my original front one went after moving around the states so much

Can't find my stock tail lights either.

I think I'm going with black. For now anyway. What kind of spraypaint should I get? Gloss, Flat, Matte?

edit: I've decided on gloss. I'm gonna paint the front this weekend and remove the back for now.
