Parking Break UGLY - Replacement??

Ok, so I've searched and not found anything that has to do with parking break handle replacement. So.....

What the hell do we do to get rid of that ugly thing? Has anyone put a new handle and boot there yet. I got to get rid of that damn plastic peice it looks to CHEAP!!!!

Richbrook from england is one of my favorite for boots and knobs but I want to know where do we get universal handles and boots from?

Thanks all.

Yes it's possible and been done... the difficult part is finding a handle with a large enough inner diameter to fit over the factory metal handle.

Love the sig. Getting the database to error is easy. Just search. Then 5 seconds later search. Keep tapping search til it gets to 1 sec and ERROR!!! So sad!!

momo handle and the C1 boot, don't need an adapter...just need to trim a little piece of plastic with a utility knife, tighten the screws, and done.

momo knobs are pretty expensive. I looked at shifter knobs and they are around 80+ dollars.. and that is for the cheapest ones.. some were over 100

LTB motorsports is the cheapest that I have found. Either their ebay store or website, same price including shipping.

I couldn't find the how-to searching quickly. Anyway, its super easy. Twist the stock handle to the left and pull (fairly hard) and it'll slide right off. Trim whatever pieces of plastic that prevent the new handle from going on, there's a little lip on the bottom that prevented my handle from sliding all the way down so a utility knife made quick work of it. Put the boot on, put the new handle on, tighten with provided allen screws, pull boot up which clicks right onto the handle, and done. Put the console plastic back on and you're done. Took me 5 mins.
