can i make my '07 parking lights as bright as the '06's? i drive with them on almost all the time but they're so dull you can barely tell that they're on [just take a look at my sig]

if it's possible, would a simple bulb swap do the trick or is it more complicated than that?

 

try the sylvania bulbs. i have them

 

the difference is that the 06 has a amber lens over the parling light the 07 does not. the lens is like a reflector which can make it brighter. the solution is to swap headlight assemblies or take your apart and add the reflectors that the factory left out. hope this helps.

 

The '06s actually have the brighter of two elements illuminated as a DRL type thingy, the same filament that acts as the turn signals. If you turn the parking lights of the '06 on, it's the same brightness as your '07s parking lights. But while driving in the day, they're lit up brighter due to them being a daytime running light.

Basically... No you can't. It all depends on (I think the )PCM... But either way, no, not really you can't change the way the DRL's light up, you can just turn them off/unplug the fuse. I have a 06, & I LOVE my DRL's, & I hate how the low-wattage high-beams are the DRL's, I think it looks like ass.

I say, jus keep driving w/ the parkin lights on....
