passenger HID sometimes does not work

when i first turn the car on only the driver side comes on. then when i turn my lights completely off then turn them back on they come on fine. i have no idea what the problem is. i replaced the ballast once already.

Aright noob, helps if you give us some slight details.

Year
Make
Model

Brand of HID's

Did you have to splice wires with that kit or directly plug and play?

However, I can say from my experience with my Ion Redline, my drivers does this once and a great while. I theorize it has something to do with the cars being extremely sensitive to ohm and watt changes. Try changing the fuse to them, and make sure A. the polarity on the ballast is correct AND B. The connect is tight(NOT LOOSE AT ALL) Could possibly be due to condensation if you didn't electric tape the hell out of the connections.

You need to run relay harness with hids or you'll keep having this issue. Also pull your drl fuse if you haven't already

Yes you have to run a relay harness.
I just put my hids in my depo projectors yesterday and i got the relay harness with my kit from buyhids.com..
I pulled my DRL fuse too..
You need to do these steps so you wont have issues like that!!

What side effect does pulling the DRL fuse have? Do they not come on automatically anymore or something?

You don't have daytime running lights. That's it. The daytime running lights run the low beams at half voltage which can damage hid systems and cause issues.
