Why not just cut the stocker? I've done a couple for people on Cobalts and other cars. Mark it about 6-8" from the base, cut it off, round off the top so its smooth where you cut it, paint the whole thing so it looks factory, re-install. Works great, looks fantastic, and doesn't cost more than a little spraypaint and some time. Its also unique, which is always nice.

Mid america motorworks -- corvette part suppliers has a nice shorty that fits the 05-06 6MM threads -- about $19.

612-431 1999-04 Corvette Shorty Antenna, Z06 and Fixed Roof Coupe, black $18.99 In Stock

http://www.mamotorworks.com/corvette...-308-9152.html

They DO NOT provide an antenna that fits the '07-up 7MM threads

Why waste money on an antenna though?

What about a cross over from another stock car? I know the S2000 antenna is a direct fit for a lot of other cars and people love it because it's short and works nice. I got one from the dealership I worked at for my boy's Evo, and he was super happy with it, until someone took it off his car and replaced it with another stock Evo antenna one day in a parking lot

Getting a shorty is a waste of money. I chopped mine and cut off the little ball on top and super glued it back on. Looks good. If you still wanna get a shorty then get the ark one. Best looking I think

I got mine from autozone. It is maybe a foot high. and kinda thick. But it looks really good. I need to up some pictures...when i get them in my gallery, will let you know.

They sell them at walmart also. For about 10 bux you get an antenna and some other hardware, but you dont need the other stuff at all...

I bought the same one at auto Zone. That **** started to droop like a limp d*** cuz it's like a rubber/plastic material. Then I took it off. It's not even worth the ten bucks
