But apparently YOU do not realize that if i wanted to, i could step outside my house, peel it off, and you could never tell it was on there. So please, explain how it "tooka way from the value of the car as well as the quality". YOU obviously do not understand how it works.

Please move along and let the adults talk now

Ace Hardware is never out of stock, you'll pay an extra buck or so shopping there but they'll have it.

Douche? Really? Since when will a professional paint job RUIN the integrity of a car? Thats a new one to me. Im still trying to comprehend your post, its very jibberish sounding, so maybe you didn't come off like I though you did.

Obviously I think Plasti Dip dont look good, but I did say it would be benificial "IF" the OP isnt sure and just wanted to see what it would look like in person. Calling me a douche for sugesting a professional paint job and then saying it would ruin the "integrity" of the car??? Im speechless...

I guess i've ruined my car. I've had it in the body shop to have the wing holes filled and the decklid repainted. While they were at it they done the evo mod for me in flat, matches my grills exactly.

I guess I should have just plugged those wing holes and left the trunk alone, now its got.....PAINT.... on it!

u got a crappy one. cars paint usually last along time. the circumstances and setup and prep at a factory is PERFECT for painting. its impossible to recreate that in a shop

So a cobalt is suddenly not low end, but a mitsubishi...many which cost upwards of 30K, are low end? Wow... You're logic is... baffling.

And a defect is NOT something that happens for 20 years...

haha ur an idiot. y dont u go read about the cars that had the defect before u talk ****. 30k or more. haha. jesus. i used to own a 2001 galant gtz and the paint faded. ive only seem a couple other cars with that paint defect. being more galants and eclipses. yes LOWER end cars douchebag. and its a DEFECT! DEFECTS are not supposed to happen. thats y its called a defect. if u spend thousands of dollars on a paint job yea itll hold longer and look good longer but not as good as factory paint would. so lick my ass and keep getting mavis paint jobs for 400 dollars and have it peel and chip away in a year. try reading and learning and knowing wat ur talking about before u even say ANYTHING

I can actually say nothing and sound like a genius next to your posts. And yes, Galants, Eclipses, Endeavors, etc can EASILY hit 30K+ (when all were produced), so please do not make me make you look like the illiterate little boy you are. Just move along and admit you are wrong...again. Reading comprehension has already gotten the best of you in previous threads.

My point was and still is, just because its factory does not make it superior to an aftermarket reputable shop. And my example is backed up by tens of thousands of black cancer'd mitsubishi's with horrible black paint from the factory...for 20 years.

Agreed^. I'd take a 4k paint job done by the shop I go to over a factory paint job any day of the week. Factorys are just that, a factory. They herd the cars through like cattle, 50 + paint jobs a day if I had to guess!
Reputable shop, dozens if not hundreds of hours in prep, and painted by a human being, not a damn robot.
