plasti-dip help

I painted my bow-tie the other day. I looked at it today and the plasti-dip was gone. Is there a way to keep it on other than painting it?

Did you clean it at all? Painted my horizontal bars and front tie 3-4 months ago and it still looks good. My guess would be there's wax on it not allowing the dip to stick

I painter my bowtie on the front and rims. They lasted the full six months before I sold the car

When I Plasti dipped my wheels, Evo mod and bow tie I put light coats on and used a hair drier to help dry it. Got no runs and it's been 3 months, no chips at anything! Lol

It could be the wax. I shall scrub it down and repaint to see if that will help. I have painted several other things with plasti-dip but they are still there thats why I thought it was strange.
