Plastic to plastic bonding and forming?
Hey guys I spent the last couple days going store to store looking for the right product, What I need is a plastic to plastic bonding agent, that can build up structurally and be able to sand and paint, any ideas? Im trying to avoid fiberglass due to the mess and fumes etc... also has anyone used Goop?

check out 3M Automotive Automix line.. you'll find what you're looking for there. Fusor automotive adhesive products are also good. Any automotive paint supply store will carry one or both of them

You need to go somewhere that sells actual Auto Paint. Auto Zone, Murry's, or Advanced Auto are not going to carry what you really need. Auto Value is what is the most popular around here.

I've used a 2 part epoxy specifically for plastic parts with a lot of success - although the smell from it is a bit unholy (I'd take fiberglass resin smell over it any day). That, and most of the plastic epoxies/builders take around 8 hours for a real good cure.
A bit of advice - prior to doing any bonding on plastic auto parts, be sure to roughen the surface slightly (of course), but also grinding back slightly on cracks promotes better adhesion, and use a plastic prep solvent to help promote the adhesion and get rid of any trace of wax or plasticizer bloom.
International Epoxies makes some good two part and carries the solvent - if you can find the stuff by you. They're out of Florida:
Plastic repair items for the automotive repair industry from IES 800-451-7206
They also carry the solvent cleaner.
3M also has a good one - the 4240 is good for slightly flexible stuff like bumpers, but it takes a special gun to apply (good if your cuz works in auto body, like mine ).
