Polished Valve Cover

Got bored last night and started to Polish my Valve Cover. Sanded it down with 400, 800 and 1000 grit sandpaper by hand and then put 3 heavy base coats of Mothers Mag/Aluninum Polish and 1 thin coat to start the shine. Heres the before and after shots. And yes i did make another post of this in the Canadian North East section for the guys/girls in my home town to see. So please dont ask about it

Now the After:

Nice. And, is it just me, or is your SC starting to show signs of corrosion? I seen an 06 SS SC from BC and the SC had some serious rust issues on it...

It was off for about 3 hours. And i didnt cover the valve train, was going to use a garbage bag but i didnt have anything so i just closed the hood. There was some oil that did run down the side of the engine (u can see it in a pic) but its nothing major

No it might just be the pic. unless you are looking at the banjo bolt for the coolant line. I accidently snapped the bolt in half when i was installing my Stage 2. and i needed a replacement to get back to the army base the next day so my mechanic drilled holes in a normal bolt and made one...that might be what u r seeing.
